Lahore Bishop Prays For An End To Violence In Gaza

In light of the tragic and devastating conflict between Israel and Palestine, Church of Pakistan Lahore Diocese Rev. Nadeem Kamran has extended his prayers to all those affected, especially the innocent children whose lives have been tragically cut short.

In a statement, the bishop said, “It is with a heavy heart that I express my sincerest hope for an end to this ongoing strife and violence. Let us join together in unity, standing as a collective voice for peace, understanding, and reconciliation between these nations. May our shared humanity serve as a guiding force towards a future devoid of hostility and animosity, where peaceful coexistence is possible for all.”

Over 10,000 Palestinians and 1,400 Israelis were killed in an ongoing conflict that entered its second month.

Gaza City, the Hamas militant group's main stronghold in the territory, is encircled by Israeli forces. The Israeli military said troops have advanced to the heart of the densely populated city, while Hamas says its fighters have inflicted heavy losses.
